Good friendly with local team Frodsham Park.
The game was split into four fifteen minute quarters;
First quarter.
A close fifteen minutes, potential for the game to go either way. Neither side able to score.
Second quarter.
Again not much in it, but Frodsham took their chance and scored a good goal.
Third quarter.
Both teams clearly a little more comfortable with the bigger pitch and started to pass the ball a little better, Joe Davies scored a great goal to level the game.
Final quarter.
A really good final fifteen for Helsby scoring three goals.
First was a fantastic long range effort by Connor, we were then awarded a penalty which Connor converted. Recently signed Jack then made a great run and took his goal really well to make it three.
Both teams worked hard and made it a good game to watch.
