Match Report - Charlie Potts was the hat-trick hero for Helsby as they beat a spirited Waverton Bees team 7-1. It was Waverton that took the early advantage with a well worked passing move that saw Jacob Macevoy open the scoring with a tap in from a cross from the right. Helsby responded immediately with a set piece move from a corner with Mathew Harrison scoring a volley inside the box. Heslby extended the lead with 2 quick goals, a neat header from Charlie Potts and a nice finish from Mathew Harrison in the box which saw Helsby lead 3-1 at half time.

Helsby applied lots of pressure in the second half and scored 4 more goals against a Waverton team that never stopped working hard together as a team, Helsby goals coming from Charlie Potts with 2 more goals for his hat trick a well finished shot from Owen Rose from the corner of the box into the bottom corner of the net and the final one from Dean Woodward who beat 3 players and rounded the keeper to make the final score 7-1.
